Categorized in the Short Distance segment, the ZH450ST projector from Optoma projects with a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution, alongside 4200 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 1800:1. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 30000 hours, which translates to 20.5 years with 4 hours of daily use. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 99 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 4200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 658 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 439 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket.
