Based on DLP technology, the Optoma EzPro / EP759 device delivers 3500 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 2000:1 as a projector. According to Optoma, the lamp has a durability of 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 515 cm can be illuminated with 3500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 343 cm. This model dates back to 2004 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.

Well, nobody really believes the outrageous nonsense that Berlin once spouted, do they?
The projector ran for no less than 15 years without any problems.
There were and are no heat problems with the projector, as it not only has a large housing, but also a sophisticated ventilation system, which also makes it quite quiet.
Today, of course, it is no longer up-to-date, but still better than the 500-euro class.
Only now is my Optoma slowly saying goodbye with false colors and a trembling picture - it has simply become old.

Attention knitted with a hot needle
On the outside it is similar to the EP758, but it has a 300W lamp, which not only leads to more brightness, but also to significantly more heat. As a result, not only does the housing burst near the lamp socket, but the color wheel also flies around your ears very quickly. Out of 4 devices, 3 were thrown away after 3 years because of the defective color wheel. Beware: the lamp in the device bursts when the lamp life is reached or before. This is also stated in the operating instructions. Not only does it make a huge bang, it also leaves a lot of glass splinters that melt into the plastic ventilation duct when hot.

Good bright device but deductions in compatibility
Very bright and therefore quite quiet but unfortunately it doesn‘t always work with the display so it sometimes cuts something off on the left and right depending on the resolution.
But overall one of the best I‘ve ever had and for little money.

picture quality in the upper price range
very nice and relatively inexpensive projector impresses with its top picture that makes some other projectors look far too expensive not the most expensive and latest technology alone makes a good picture the components must fit together
