As a projector, the Optoma EzPro / EP736 combines DLP technology with a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768, and is additionally specified with 1300 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 1600:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 2000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 314 cm can be illuminated with 1300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 209 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. The projector was released in 2002 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
