Behind the name W351 is a 3D-DLP projector by Optoma, whose main features include 3800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 20000:1 and a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 6500 hours before a replacement is necessary – mathematically sufficient for 8.9 years based on two hours of use per day. Looking at practical performance, up to 626 cm can be illuminated with 3800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 417 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2014 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
