The TX665UST 3D model from Optoma combines DLP technology in the Short Distance sector with 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 and a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Thanks to its low throw ratio, the model is excellently suited for rooms with limited space. A distance of just 75 cm is sufficient to generate an image width of 2 meters. Looking at practical performance, up to 477 cm can be illuminated with 3000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 318 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Since entering the market in 2011, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
