The Optoma UHZ50 is a 3D-DLP projector offering 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2500000:1 and a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 30000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 20.5 years at 4 hours a day. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Lens Shift Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. A look at the light output reveals: The 3000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 556 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 371 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 29 decibels. This model dates back to 2022 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.

Standard-Portabel | External training and company presentations, as well as product presentations. Medium screen width or rooms with a little more ambient light, max. 200 lumens.
The compact projector convinces with its large optics for a razor-sharp image right up to the edge in the desktop as well as in the video area. The color space is standard Optoma and simply beautiful. There is also nothing to complain about in terms of picture smoothness. The contrast is oversized and reproduces a perfect black level. Even thanks to its compact design, it is barely audible and whisper-quiet in Eco mode. There is little flexibility when setting up the screen due to the lens shift, but keystone correction is not advisable. The menu options are extremely extensive and leave nothing to be desired in terms of picture settings. It also has an intermediate image calculation function that works excellently at 4K. If you compare the UHZ50 with a current Epson or Sony (2021), it has nothing to hide and is on a par in terms of picture quality. With the UHZ50, Optoma has once again proven that for an attractive price you can get a machine that is not only fun to use but also conjures up an almost perfect picture on the screen. (if it is set up correctly, contrast screen is recommended)
