Based on DLP technology, the Optoma UHD65-W projects images in a Stationary environment, with technical specs listing 2200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 120000:1 and a 4KESHIFT 2716 x 1528 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 4000 hours before a replacement is necessary – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment; exact values can be calculated using the Projection Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 2200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 477 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 318 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 28 decibels. The projector was released in 2020 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
