The projector W319ST by Optoma operates as a 3D-DLP device with 4000 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a contrast of 25000:1. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 6000 hours for this projector's lamp, achieving a lifespan of 8.2 years when used for 2 hours a day. The short-throw capabilities allow for large images at a short projection distance. According to specifications, a 2-meter wide image requires a distance of only 104 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 4000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 643 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 429 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (10W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 28 decibels. Since entering the market in 2021, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
