Categorized in the Homecinema segment, the Home Entertainment UHZ36 projector from Optoma projects with a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution, alongside 4375 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 1000000:1. Using this laser phosphor technology, the light source runtime is rated at 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. Regarding projection size, the value of 4375 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 601 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 401 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P and 4K as well as 3D. Furthermore, the model supports 360° projections for highly flexible deployment scenarios. Since the projector supports optional Miracast, Airplay and Chromecast screen mirroring, video signals can also be streamed wirelessly from the end device.
