As a projector, the Optoma EH515 combines DLP technology with a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080, and is additionally specified with 5500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 10000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 3000 hours. To facilitate room installation, the device is equipped with mechanical lens shift and additional keystone correction. Precise setup distances can be determined in the Lens Shift Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 753 cm can be illuminated with 5500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 502 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2015, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
