As a projector, the Optoma ProScene ZU820T combines DLP technology with a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200, and is additionally specified with 7500 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 2000:1. The laser technology ensures a specified light source lifespan of up to 30000 hours. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 20.5 years possible. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Lens Shift Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 7500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 880 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 587 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable.
