Based on DLP technology, the Optoma HD23 projects images in a Homecinema environment, with technical specs listing 2500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 5000:1 and a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2500 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 2500 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 508 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 339 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. This model dates back to 2011 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.

Have had the HD23 for a week now and have to say super device great contrast beautiful colors
I use it with an Onkyo TX-NR807 and Telekom Entertainment and Panasonic BD player
So with BD player real top class without jerking and rainbow effect!!!
With Telekom Entertainment HD also during the day great picture, but my windows are not at the height of the screen
However, I find it a bit loud in bright mode, as it is specified with 29db but seems louder to me. However, I‘m not sitting far away and it hangs at 2.30 meters
