As a projector for the Short Distance sector, the Optoma GT3500HDR is equipped with 3800 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution and a contrast of 500000:1. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 30000 hours, which translates to 20.5 years with 4 hours of daily use. The image geometry can be adjusted via the built-in keystone correction so that a clean, rectangular display is achieved even with non-ideal placement. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 51 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 3800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 626 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 417 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket.
