The DS302 is a LED-DLP projector by Optoma, whose specifications list 1650 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. According to Optoma, the included lamp lasts up to 3000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 1650 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 354 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 236 cm. With a value of only 27 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. Since entering the market in 2006, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.

Standard-Portabel | External training and company presentations, as well as product presentations. Small screen width, rooms with very little ambient light below 50 lumens.
So I bought it for 5euros in 2021 as I am quite new to the projector world I didn‘t want to spend so much and lo and behold for 5 euros I got a top projector that is completely sufficient for movie nights !!!! I am thrilled and can recommend it to everyone top picture with HDMI adapter

If you can still get one, it‘s usually for very little money. The picture is great for a projector with 800 resolution. The noise is very quiet and the lamp is cheap. Ideal for DVD evenings. What is missing is a zoom.

Price/performance in order - but woe betide you if it‘s defective....
............then you can confidently buy a new device. My DS-302 is now (of course) defective just after the end of the warranty period, the lamp works but no picture can be produced. Device sent in to the repair service indicated: diagnosis of circuit board damage (was only hanging under the ceiling, so was never moved!!!)KV: circuit board replacement and labor -> 500 euros !!!!! I‘m pissed off, that can‘t be right!!!! Cost estimate rejected -> invoice 65 Euro for preparation of KV !!!!
Complaints directly to Optoma have not yet been answered!!!!
My advice: Stay away from Optoma products!!!!

Beamer defective - repair much more expensive than new price
I was actually very satisfied with the Optoma DS-302 (NP 399 €) in terms of price/performance ratio! Now suddenly (after 2.5 years) no image can be projected any more although the lamp is working and I have sent the device in for a check and cost estimate! The answer: repair costs over 500 € plus VAT and shipping! That‘s a bad joke!
Repair refused and device sent back, now nothing works anymore! I will keep my hands off Optoma products in the future !!!!!!

Also, I‘ve owned this projector for about 2 years and I‘m currently looking for an HDTV projector. Unfortunately, I have to say that I‘m finding it very difficult because of the quality of my projector. The projector achieves a very good picture even when playing Blu Ray Discs via the component input, taking into account the native resolution of 800x600, the picture quality is amazing. The adjustment options are good, so I will probably have to search for a while until I find a projector that can replace this one for less than 1000 euros. Highly recommended for a street price of around 500 euros and a maximum screen width of 220 cm. Grade Very good

Unbelievable Value
This beamer is more than I expected for the price of € 500,00
Its crisp and bright image is very nice to look at.
Good adjustability, low noise, small casing and compatibility with my E-Dimensional glasses make this one heck of a deal.
