The EzPro / EP783 model is a LED-BrilliantColor-DLP projector from Optoma, intended for Stationary applications, offering 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1500:1 at XGA 1024 x 768. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment without distortion. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Lens Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 616 cm can be illuminated with 5000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 411 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. With a value of only 30 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. This model dates back to 2008 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
