The HD27e model is a 3D-DLP projector from Optoma, intended for Homecinema applications, offering 3200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 25000:1 at HDTV 1920 x 1080. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 3500 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 575 cm can be illuminated with 3200 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 383 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. In the specifications, the operating noise is listed at a mere 25 decibels, indicating very quiet cooling. The projector was released in 2018 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma. In our projector directory, the device still generates high interest.
