The Optoma EH338 is a 3D-LED-DLP projector that brings 3800 ANSI lumens, a HDTV 1920 x 1080 resolution alongside a contrast of 50000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 4000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 5.5 years possible. Looking at practical performance, up to 626 cm can be illuminated with 3800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 417 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Since entering the market in 2019, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
