The Optoma L1 is a 3D-DLP projector offering 1060 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1800000:1 and a resolution of UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160. The LED unit of this model is rated for up to 30000 hours of runtime. Daily use of 4 hours makes an operational lifespan of over 20.5 years possible. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. With its built-in wide-angle optics, the device belongs to the category of short-throw projectors. An image width of 2 meters is realized from a short distance of 51 cm. A look at the light output reveals: The 1060 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 331 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 221 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 28 decibels.
