Designed for the Micro-Portabel sector, the ML1050ST+ model from Optoma features 1000 ANSI lumens, a native WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a contrast ratio of 20000:1. As an LED projector, the spec sheet indicates a lifespan of 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. Regarding projection size, the value of 1000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 321 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 214 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 22 decibels. Since entering the market in 2018, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
