The technical data of the Optoma TX551 includes 2800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3500:1 as well as a XGA 1024 x 768 display. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 5000 hours before a replacement is necessary, which amounts to roughly 6.8 years at 2 hours of daily use. A look at the light output reveals: The 2800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 461 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 307 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Regarding noise emissions, the model proves to be exceptionally quiet during operation, producing just 30 decibels. Since entering the market in 2011, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
