The Optoma EX765 is a BrilliantColor-DLP projector that brings 4000 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution alongside a contrast of 2500:1. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 2000 hours before a replacement is necessary. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Projection Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. Regarding projection size, the value of 4000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 551 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 367 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2009 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.

Unfortunately, after 3 years the 2nd DMD unit is already broken. The first one lasted 2 years until it started to star and the 2nd one only lasted 12 months. And that with just under 400 operating hours :(
