With the DU380, Optoma offers a LED-BrilliantColor-DLP projector that features 3800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 15000:1 and a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 3000 hours for this projector's lamp. Looking at practical performance, up to 626 cm can be illuminated with 3800 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 417 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2016 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
