A projector from Optoma is the ZH400ST, whose 3D-LED-BrilliantColor-DLP model delivers 4000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080 and a contrast of 200000:1. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 30000 hours, which translates to 20.5 years with 4 hours of daily use. To compensate for angled projection positions, the model features 2D keystone correction, which digitally corrects trapezoidal distortion. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 99 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 643 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 429 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P as well as 3D are supported. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket.
