The W502 model is a 3D-DLP projector from Optoma, intended for Standard-Portabel applications, offering 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 at WXGA 1280 x 800. According to Optoma, the lamp has a durability of 3500 hours. Regarding setup flexibility, the model features an optical lens shift function alongside digital keystone correction, allowing for precise alignment; exact values can be calculated using the Distance Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 718 cm can be illuminated with 5000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 479 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. Thanks to MHL support, screen content from mobile devices can be transmitted via cable, including charging power for the device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Equipped with a microphone jack and built-in speakers (16W), audio signals during presentations can be played back directly without an external audio system. With a value of only 30 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. The projector was released in 2015 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
