Equipped with DLP technology, the Optoma W490 offers 5000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 10000:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 3000 hours. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. The Projector Calculator helps find the optimal installation dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 718 cm can be illuminated with 5000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 479 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. The built-in HDMI-MHL (Mobile High-Definition Link) port enables screen mirroring from a smartphone while simultaneously charging it. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. With a value of only 29 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. This model dates back to 2015 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
