The projector S400 by Optoma utilizes DLP technology and, according to the spec sheet, achieves 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 22000:1 at a resolution of SVGA 800 x 600. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 6000 hours before a replacement is necessary. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 8.2 years. Regarding projection size, the value of 4000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 551 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 367 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 29 decibels. This model dates back to 2020 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
