The projector X605e by Optoma operates as a 3D-BrilliantColor-DLP device with 6000 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 2000:1. According to Optoma, the lamp has a durability of 3000 hours. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. Which optic is required for a specific case can easily be calculated via the Projector Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 6000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 675 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 450 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2017 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
