Known as the HD6720, this 3D-BrilliantColor-DLP projector by Optoma features basic specs of 2700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 4000:1 at a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution. According to Optoma, the included lamp lasts up to 4000 hours. With two hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 5.5 years. Looking at practical performance, up to 528 cm can be illuminated with 2700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 352 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 28 decibels. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
