Equipped with DLP technology, the Optoma SA520 offers 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 25000:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 6000 hours, which amounts to roughly 8.2 years at 2 hours of daily use. A look at the light output reveals: The 4000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 551 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 367 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P as well as 3D. With a value of only 27 decibels, the noise level during operation remains pleasantly in the background. The projector was released in 2020 and is officially no longer distributed by Optoma.
