The projector EX540 by Optoma operates as a BrilliantColor-DLP device with 2500 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution and a contrast of 2500:1. According to Optoma, the lamp has a durability of 4000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 5.5 years when used for 2 hours a day. Regarding projection size, the value of 2500 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 435 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 290 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 29 decibels. Since entering the market in 2009, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
