Behind the name DS315e is a 3D-LED-DLP projector by Optoma, whose main features include 3600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 20000:1 and a SVGA 800 x 600 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 6000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 8.2 years when used for 2 hours a day. A look at the light output reveals: The 3600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 523 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 349 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 27 decibels. This model dates back to 2018 and is no longer part of Optoma's current product range.
