A projector from Nec is the VT580, whose Laser-LCD model delivers 2000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768 and a contrast of 600:1. According to Nec, the included lamp lasts up to 2000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 2000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 389 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 259 cm. This model dates back to 2005 and is no longer part of Nec's current product range.
