The projector P474W by Nec operates as a LCD device with 4700 ANSI lumens, a WXGA 1280 x 800 resolution and a contrast of 18000:1. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 4000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. For distortion-free image alignment, the projector offers both a lens shift function and keystone correction. The amount of leeway the lens provides can be checked in the Projection Calculator. Looking at practical performance, up to 697 cm can be illuminated with 4700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 465 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. This model dates back to 2017 and is no longer part of Nec's current product range.
