This projector from Nec utilizes 3D-LCD technology, achieving 5200 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 6000:1 at a resolution of WUXGA 1920 x 1200. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 3000 hours for this projector's lamp. Thanks to the combination of optical lens shift and digital keystone correction, the projected image's position can be adjusted very flexibly. To meet a wide variety of installation conditions, the projector offers the option of using different interchangeable lenses. Verifying the respective distances is easily possible via the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 5200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 733 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 489 cm. Should very large projection surfaces be required, the integrated edge-blending software offers the possibility to seamlessly combine images from multiple projectors without visible seams. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content as well as 3D, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. The model is perfectly equipped for complex installations: In addition to the RJ45 jack for network administration, an HDBaseT port is available, transporting high-resolution AV signals over a single Cat cable. This model dates back to 2014 and is no longer part of Nec's current product range.
