A projector from Nec is the NC1440L-A, whose DLP model delivers 10000 ANSI lumens, a resolution of UHD (4K+2K) 4096 x 2160 and a contrast of 2000:1. The manufacturer lists the lifespan for this model at 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. The specifications identify the device as a model with an interchangeable lens option. Matching optional optics allow for exact adaptation to the required image size and projection distance, which can be calculated directly with the Projection Calculator. Regarding projection size, the value of 10000 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 840 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 560 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Since entering the market in 2016, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
