The Nec M230X is a LCD projector that brings 2300 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution alongside a contrast of 2000:1. The manufacturer rates the durability of the included lamp at 5000 hours. A daily usage of 2 hours makes an operational lifespan of 6.8 years possible. Looking at practical performance, up to 418 cm can be illuminated with 2300 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 279 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2010 and is officially no longer distributed by Nec. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
