The technical data of the Nec UM280Wi includes 2800 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000:1 as well as a WXGA 1280 x 800 display. According to Nec, the included lamp lasts up to 3000 hours. Regarding projection size, the value of 2800 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 538 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 359 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. Specifically for the educational or business sector, an interactive whiteboard function is also integrated. The projector was released in 2012 and is officially no longer distributed by Nec. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
