This projector from Nec utilizes LCD technology, achieving 5000 ANSI lumens and a contrast of 600:1 at a resolution of XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 2000 hours. For precise setup, the device features a lens shift mechanism that allows for purely optical image shifting. A major advantage for professional installations is the ability to use interchangeable lenses, allowing the projector to adapt to highly varied projection distances. A look at the light output reveals: The 5000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 616 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 411 cm. As an additional feature, an integrated media player enables the direct playback of files without an external source device. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2007 and is officially no longer distributed by Nec.
