The NP54 model from Nec combines DLP technology in the Standard-Portabel sector with 2600 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 1600:1 and a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 2500 hours for this projector's lamp. A look at the light output reveals: The 2600 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 444 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 296 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Furthermore, the model is Bluetooth-enabled, allowing audio signals to be sent wirelessly to external speakers. The projector was released in 2010 and is officially no longer distributed by Nec.
