Based on DLP technology, the Nec NP-M430WL device delivers 4300 ANSI lumens, a resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800 and a contrast of 2000:1 as a projector. This is a laser projector with a light source designed to last for 20000 hours – calculating to 13.7 years at four hours of use per day. Both optical image shifting (lens shift) and digital keystone adjustment are included, enabling exact alignment on the screen. Accurate distances are provided by the Distance Calculator. A look at the light output reveals: The 4300 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 666 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 444 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K, and also offers the technical capability for 360° projection. Since entering the market in 2021, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
