The MC342X model is a 3D-LCD projector from Nec, intended for Standard-Portabel applications, offering 3400 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 16000:1 at XGA 1024 x 768. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 10000 hours, achieving a lifespan of 13.7 years when used for 2 hours a day. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. Regarding projection size, the value of 3400 ANSI lumens allows for an image width of up to 508 cm in darkened environments. In rooms with ambient light, the image width should be correspondingly reduced to a maximum of 339 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2019 and is officially no longer distributed by Nec.
