Behind the name XT4100 is a Laser-DLP projector by Nec, whose main features include 3500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. In operating mode, the installed projector lamp offers a lifespan of 1500 hours. The presence of a lens shift function enables flexible vertical or horizontal positioning of the projector without digital interference. The optical system is designed for the use of interchangeable lenses, allowing for a tailor-made configuration for almost any throw ratio. The Projector Calculator is available to calculate the exact dimensions. Looking at practical performance, up to 515 cm can be illuminated with 3500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 343 cm. In terms of video signals, the device processes resolutions up to Full HD 1080P. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. This device is no longer manufactured and has been removed from Nec's current lineup. Important maintenance note: It is no longer possible to procure replacement lamps for this model.
