Equipped with LCD technology, the Nec MC422X offers 4200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 16000:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 10000 hours – mathematically sufficient for 13.7 years based on two hours of use per day. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. A look at the light output reveals: The 4200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 564 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 376 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P and 4K as well as 3D are supported, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. The projector was released in 2019 and is officially no longer distributed by Nec.
