The Nec UM280Xi is a Laser-LCD projector that brings 2800 ANSI lumens, a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution alongside a contrast of 3000:1. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 3000 hours. A look at the light output reveals: The 2800 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 461 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 307 cm. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For convenient remote monitoring and administration, the projector is equipped with a classic RJ45 network socket. Specifically for the educational or business sector, an interactive whiteboard function is also integrated. This model dates back to 2012 and is no longer part of Nec's current product range. As an archive device, the projector remains highly relevant in our database.
