The M350X is a LCD projector by Nec, whose specifications list 3500 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and a XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. According to Nec, the lamp has a durability of 4000 hours, which amounts to roughly 5.5 years at 2 hours of daily use. Looking at practical performance, up to 515 cm can be illuminated with 3500 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 343 cm. For media input, video signals up to 1080P are supported. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. The projector was released in 2010 and is officially no longer distributed by Nec. This model continues to hold a solid place in our database search queries.
