Behind the name TK860i is a 3D-DLP projector by Benq, whose main features include 3300 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 50000:1 and a UHD (4K2K) 3840 x 2160 resolution. The runtime of the lamp in this model is estimated at 4000 hours before a replacement is necessary – mathematically sufficient for 5.5 years based on two hours of use per day. For basic image adjustment, the device is equipped with horizontal and vertical keystone correction, allowing digital compensation for trapezoidal distortion at angled projection setups. A look at the light output reveals: The 3300 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 584 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 389 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content and 4K as well as 3D, meaning standard Blu-ray formats are processed effortlessly. Thanks to Android TV, the device features an intuitive user interface with direct access to popular streaming apps. Also on board is a local media player that allows reading and playing content directly from storage media. Since entering the market in 2023, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.
