This projector is named LH830ST, originates from Benq, and its data sheet shows 4000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000000:1 and a resolution of HDTV 1920 x 1080. With its laser unit, the projector offers a specified light lifespan of 20000 hours – equivalent to a usable life of 13.7 years at 4 hours a day. To ensure a rectangular image even with asymmetrical placement, the projector includes digital keystone correction for both the horizontal and vertical axes. A special feature is the short-throw lens, which allows the device to be positioned at a very short distance from the screen. According to the data sheet, an image width of 2 meters is achieved from a distance of just 99 cm. Looking at practical performance, up to 643 cm can be illuminated with 4000 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 429 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. For integration into professional environments, an RJ45 connection is available for network control and remote maintenance. A look at the data sheet confirms a very subtle fan noise for the projector at just 30 decibels.
