Equipped with DLP technology, the Benq MP622 offers 2700 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 2000:1 and is designed as a versatile projector. The manufacturer lists the lamp life at 3000 hours. Looking at practical performance, up to 453 cm can be illuminated with 2700 ANSI lumens in dark environments. Once daylight is in the room, the image should ideally be no wider than 302 cm. Since entering the market in 2007, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model.

Even after years of use, the MP-622C is a brilliant device for me: good resolution, low noise level, small form factor, relatively light.
What annoys me a little is the signal tone that cannot be switched off. It likes to burst in at a moment when you *don‘t* want any more acoustic disturbance.
You should also be careful with the shutter slider in front of the lens: If you forget to open it, it can start to melt due to the absorptino of the projector light.

hello guys yes benq is known for good products and that‘s why I bought the Benq MP 622C DLP Beamer.for home theater and computer applications.yes must say good device.the maintenance regarding replacement lamps is ok there are devices from other manufacturers where the lamp almost reaches the new price of the actual projector.unbelievable.ok picture quality is good,operation good,finish of the projector housing good in the noble black piano lacquer.ok the case looks a bit clunky in design but the inner values are more important.and there the mp622c is well equipped.the only drawback is no DVI connection and the remote control without lighting.and the typical rainbow effect is especially noticeable with too fast film sequences and too hasty fast camera pans but otherwise only positive characteristics.native 1024x768 so XGA resolution which it should be to be able to project decent images on the screen.coarse raster formation in the picture only recognizable if you sit 1 cm in front of the picture.but who does that already. !!!Tip to buy!!!

yes i was a lucky man when i saw this product in the window of a computer store but used 2 hand but with vertex leinwans 180 cm size at a price that was still ok but i bargained down further and bought it at the price i imagined.the lamp was fats down but I ordered a new one at a good price.yes finally turned on at home and inserted dvd and off it went great on a simple room wall ehct good picture got even better when I hung up the canvas yes must say good product benq I now buy again and again

I bought the projector because I wanted a new, quieter device like my previous one (Liesegang ddv1111 ultra). The 622c is very pleasantly quiet and the background noise is not noticeable, you can hardly hear it even when it is not running in Eco mode. I can highly recommend the Eco mode, as the difference in brightness is very small and the device is really bright enough in the home; the service life of the lamp should play a greater role here.
The device brings a really high-contrast and true-color image to the screen, and SXGA is also scaled properly, so that operation is quite fun, especially for presentations in the more professional area ... It can also be used to watch HD movies, although not at full resolution, but it scales nicely, so it‘s still a feast for the eyes....
One drawback I‘ve noticed so far: In my case, the bottom left corner is a bit brighter than the others, i.e. in terms of black level. However, this is not tragic, as I have noticed this with almost all DLP devices so far, that the black level is usually slightly irregular, but this is not noticeable in the color display.
Conclusion: Very chic projector, in a modern high-gloss look, makes a noble impression with its appearance and definitely convinces with its price (28.8.2008 ~410,- EUR), by its performance characteristics like picture and volume....
PS: I have not yet exhausted all the functions of the device, as it offers some features in the area of presentation, which I will not need... I use it primarily for video and PC.
