The equipment of the Benq LU960UST+ projector includes 5200 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 3000000:1 with a WUXGA 1920 x 1200 display. With its built-in laser light source, the projector achieves a manufacturer-stated lifespan of 30000 hours. With four hours of daily operation, this corresponds to a period of 20.5 years. Should a perpendicular setup to the screen not be possible, the integrated keystone correction (horizontal and vertical) helps to realign the image into a perfect rectangle. With its short projection distance, the short-throw model excels in smaller rooms, requiring only 50 cm of wall distance for an image width of 2 meters. A look at the light output reveals: The 5200 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 733 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 489 cm. Regarding signal processing, the model is compatible with incoming 1080P content. An additional 360° projection capability allows the device to be oriented at almost any angle. Regarding professional networking, the device offers a classic RJ45 LAN port for control alongside HDBaseT for the lossless transmission of picture and sound over long distances. Since entering the market in 2023, production has been discontinued; the manufacturer no longer actively offers the model. However, it remains frequently searched within our database.
