The SL 710X model from Benq combines DLP technology in the Standard-Portabel sector with 1000 ANSI lumens, a contrast of 400:1 and a native XGA 1024 x 768 resolution. The manufacturer specifies a runtime of 1500 hours for this projector's lamp. A look at the light output reveals: The 1000 ANSI lumens are sufficient to illuminate an image width of up to 275 cm in darkened rooms. If room light is present, we recommend not exceeding a maximum width of 183 cm. The projector was released in 2001 and is officially no longer distributed by Benq.
